The population consisted of 69 students of the second grade primary school; and the sample was constituted by 35 participants belonging to the second grade "B" primary school. Among the results of the research, they point to a favourable development of children social skills, as evidenced in a good school climate, more harmonious school coexistence, more assertive communication and above all, good relationships with their partners.Teniendo en cuenta la problemática del bajo nivel de desarrollo de las habilidades sociales en los niños se hace necesario la aplicación de un programa basado en la técnica del Sociodrama, orientado al desarrollo de las habilidades sociales; dicha problemática se manifiesta en sus accionar cotidiano. El objetivo fue determinar el grado de influencia del programa. La población estuvo conformada por 69 estudiantes del segundo grado de educación primaria de dicha institución, de la que se seleccionó una muestra que consta de 35 participantes, pertenecientes al segundo grado “B” de educación primaria.
