In this way, they offer a long-term perspective on the structural conditions that affect the life, birth, well-being and death of the Peruvian population.Es una ocasión especial el presentar este número monográfico de la revista Allpanchis dedicado al tema de la salud y sierra en el Perú. La motivación de programar este número es la constatación de que en los últimos años se han incrementado y profundizado los estudios sobre las percepciones, condiciones, servicios y políticas de salud en el Perú. Estos trabajos permiten comprender el pasado y la situación actual de la salud en el país, así como los retos y los cambios que son necesarios en este sector.
