These themes have been little studied in social anthropology. Moreover, the relative neglect of the native languages has led to a decrease in the transmission of the beliefs and music that represent the core of the Ashaninka cultural heritage. In this context, my current research aims to shed light on the evolution of the relationship between musical production, beliefs and ethnic identity and, at the same time, to revalue the musical and mythological heritage of the Ashaninka and their ethnic identities. The starting point of this study of social and musical anthropology are the songs that I collected between 1981 and 1985, the Villasante Collection of traditional Ashaninka music archived at the Centre de Recherches d’Ethnomusicologie (CREM, France) which I present in this Note.Como en todas las sociedades de cazadores-recolectores, las creencias asociadas al mundo espiritual y las artes musicales son muy importantes entre los Ashaninka, los Nomatsiguenga y todos los pueblos originarios amazónicos. Esas temáticas han sido muy poco estudiadas en antropología social. Además, actualmente el abandono relativo de las lenguas originarias implica la disminución de la transmisión de las creencias y de las músicas que representan lo esencial del patrimonio cultural ashaninka. En ese marco, mi investigación actual tiene por objeto esclarecer la evolución de la relación entre la producción musical, las creencias y la identidad étnica y, paralelamente, revalorizar el patrimonio musical y mitológico de los Ashaninka y sus identidades étnicas. El punto de partida de este estudio de antropología social y musical son los cantos que he recogido entre 1981 y 1985, Colección Villasante de música tradicional ashaninka archivada en el Centre de Recherches d’Ethnomusicologie (CREM, Francia), que presento en esta nota.
