This study was carried out through quantitative methods using a related design, a non-experimental, cross-sectional research framework; This work is guided by a theoretical framework developed from a pedagogical perspective on safe and educational communication. The instrument is applied to the population and responds to 48 predetermined divisions in variable doses, each with four dimensions and one dimension with six respondents; The data show that both academic performance and assertive communication are at a high level. The conclusion we reached is that there is a significant level in both cases. Finally, we can conclude that there is some correlation between learning performance and secure communication, and this correlation is significant, positive and direct.El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre la comunicación asertiva y el desempeño docente; el estudio se realizó en la Institución Educativa N° 2040 República de Cuba, Distrito de Comas; la población de estudio fue de 47 docentes y el período de estudio fue el año 2022. Este estudio se realizó mediante métodos cuantitativos utilizando un diseño correlacional, un enfoque de investigación no experimental, transversal; este trabajo estuvo guiado por un marco teórico desarrollado desde una perspectiva pedagógica sobre comunicación asertiva y desempeño docente. El instrumento se aplicó a la población y respondió 48 preguntas divididas en dos variables, cada una con cuatro dimensiones y una dimensión con seis encuestados; los datos mostraron que tanto el rendimiento académico como la comunicación asertiva se encontraban en un nivel alto. La conclusión que se llegó es que sí, hay un nivel significativo en ambos casos.
