Sumario: | Due to various factors such as lack of strategies, second graders in educational institutions have gaps in reading comprehension in terms of literal comprehension, reasoning comprehension, and standard comprehension. To offer learning strategies that influence the improvement of the text comprehension level of second grade elementary school students. The study was conducted at Rosa Luz de Puente Piedra 5168 educational institution, method scientific research, research design descriptive correlation, passive method, quasi-experimental (before and after test without control group). The type of random sampling is purposive and non-probable. The sample consisted of 2 groups of 24 2nd graders and the application questionnaire will be used as a tool. It was concluded that the instructional strategy improved reading performance when sig(004) was found in the experimental group at follow-up, and thus the instructional strategy had a significant effect on the reading performance of 2nd graders. |
