El corrido de Dante (2008) representa este corpus discursivo ficcional. En este sentido, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar tres tópicos: 1) la simbolización del personaje principal Dante Celestino; 2) el conflicto cultural entre Emma y Dante Celestino; y 3) la importancia del corrido, género musical mexicano, en la novela. Para ello, se empleará categorías socio-literarias de la inmigración, frontera, identidad, cultura, subalternidad, planteadas por Olsson, Barnach-Calbó, Beverley y Roca. Todo esto nos permite concluir que el personaje principal se constituye en el símbolo de los inmigrantes ilegales, sujetos invisibilizados por el poder hegemónico; Emma, en el paradigma de la resistencia del conflicto cultural entre hijos nacidos en tierras foráneas y padres inmigrantes ilegales; el corrido, en las manifestaciones culturales latinoamericanas divergentes, así como homogéneas.The narrative of Eduardo González Viaña (Chepén, 1941) since the 1990s, is circumscribed in the poetics of illegal Latin American immigration to the United States. Dante's corrido (2008) represents this fictional discursive corpus. In this sense, the objective of this research is to analyze three topics: 1) the symbolization of the main character Dante Celestino; 2) the cultural conflict between Emma and Dante Celestino; 3) the importance of the corrido, a Mexican musical genre, in the novel. To do this, socio-literary categories of immigration, border, identity, culture, subalternity, proposed by Olsson, Barnach-Calbó, Beverley and Roca will be used.
