En este estudio, un modelo logit multinomial fue elaborado usando distintas fuentes de datos de la ciudad de Melbourne, tales como VISTA (Encuesta integrada de viajes y actividad de Victoria), TripGo API, Bureau of Metheorology (Australia), Public Transport Victoria (PTV) entre otras. Este modelo fue usado como línea base para evaluar el impacto de las nuevas tecnologías disruptivas mencionadas en las características de los distintos medios de transporte, tales como tiempo de viaje, costo, tiempo de espera y disponibilidad. El presente estudio muestra que los vehículos autónomos usados como vehículos privados tendrían mayor impacto en el comportamiento en la elección de un modo de transporte.
