Para tal fin, es necesario desarrollar un plan estratégico que asegure el crecimiento sostenible dentro de un esquema de manejo y uso racional de los recursos naturales y materiales, siendo clave la inversión en infraestructura vial, componente necesario para comunicar e integrar económicamente a las distintas provincias con el puerto de Matarani, principal salida hacia la Cuenca del Pacífico. No podemos dejar de lado el desarrollo del capital humano, es imperativo que el Gobierno Regional en coordinación con el Estado, generen programas y proyectos de inversión que involucren al sector privado los mismos que estarán enfocados en fortalecer los sectores de educación y salud; a largo plazo estas estrategias, que se detallan en el capítulo VI, consolidarán el crecimiento sostenible de la región, transformándola en un referente en la exportación de productos orgánicos, dada la creciente demanda internacional y la apertura de nuevos mercados fortalecidos a través de los tratados de libre comercio. Esta situación deseada permitirá que la Región Cusco se consolide al 2025 dentro de los 10 destinos más visitados en el mundo, además de consolidarse como un referente del cultivo de cacao, siendo reconocido como la primera región exportadora de productos agrícolas orgánicos en América del Sur.

To achieve this target, it is necessary to have a strategic plan to ensure sustainable growth with management and rational use of natural resources and materials, such as road infrastructure, necessary to communicate the various departments with the port of Matarani (exit to Pacific Rim). We cannot ignore the development of human talent. It is imperative that the Regional Government in coordination with the State Government to generate investment programs and projects involving private entities focused on strengthen the sectors of education and health; as shown in chapter VI, will consolidate the sustainable growth of the Cusco Region, transforming it into a referent in exporting organic products , given the growing international demand and the opening of new markets, achieved by Peru with the TLC agreements signed in recent years.
