Resúmenes.6 páginasEl Arco de Iquitos ubicado en el nororiente peruano, constituye la mayor estructura de la Amazonia; separa la cuenca Marañón en Perú, de la cuenca Solimoes en Brasil. El origen y tiempo de levantamiento del Arco de Iquitos aún siguen siendo inciertas (Roddaz et al., 2005). Muchos autores estudiaron la Amazonia peruana, incidiendo mayormente en la evolución sedimentaria y paleogeográfica y pocos en la parte estructural y geodinámica.
