Lima: GRADE.Este artículo es el resultado de la investigación Derechos territoriales como apuestas de transformaciones radicales en contextos extractivos. Luchas por la permanencia territorial de dos comunidades de La Guajira-Colombia. La investigación se centra en las dinámicas de configuración de territorios en contextos de extractivismo minero-energético, abordando la disputa por estos, así como las iniciativas de transformación y protección integral del territorio. Estos temas se exploran mediante dos iniciativas: (i) el derecho a la consulta previa, libre e informada por parte de la comunidad de Cañaverales frente al proyecto de minería de carbón de la empresa Best Coal Company (BCC), y su lucha por la defensa del manantial de Cañaverales; y (ii) el proceso de permanencia territorial y defensa del arroyo Bruno, impulsado por la comunidad de El Rocío en medio de disputas territoriales con actores armados, la empresa Carbones del Cerrejón Limited y la comunidad.This article is the result of the research project Territorial rights as bets for radical transformations in extractive contexts. Struggles for territorial permanence of two communities in La Guajira-Colombia. The research focuses on the dynamics of territorial configuration in contexts of mining-energy extractivism, addressing the dispute for these, as well as the initiatives of transformation and integral protection of the territory.
