Nuestra experiencia en 140 Pacientes operados en el Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo-IPSS, Chiclayo, en un lapso de 26 meses, demostró que esta es una técnica fácil, sencilla e inocua. Además, es muy útil y confortable para el cirujano, quien no tiene que interrumpir la operación para administrar las cardioplejias siguientes que se requieran porque estas serán manejadas por el perfusionista. Se discuten las ventajas de la técnica, así como sus limitaciones.

Se discuten las ventajas de la técnica, así como sus limitaciones.We describe a method for the administration of bolus antegrade cardioplegia followed by intermittent retrograde coronary sinus perfusion during cardiac surgery as well as the lines and conectors that we use for the Procedure, our experience in 140 patients operated at the "Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo" National Hospital over a period of 26 months showed that it was an easy technique, simple and safe. In addition, it was very helpful and comfortable for the surgeon, who doesn't need to interrupted the surgical procedure to give any additional cardioplegia required, because it Will be handle by the perfusionist.
