Hospital II "Manuel de Torres Muiioz" - MollendoSe ha realizado un trabajo descriptivo analítico en 360 recién nacidos varones del servicio de neonatología del Hospital JI "Manuel de Torres Muñoz" EsSalud-Mollendo, utilizando el "escrotograma" para determinar las características de los genitales externos. Se ha encontrado que las arrugas escrotales delgadas, juntas y anguladas caracterizan a los recién nacidos menores de 38 semanas, mientras que las arrugas escrotales horizontales, gruesas y profundas son más características en los recién nacidos mayores de 38 semanas, las que se modifican con la edad gestacional (p < 0,01). El rafe escrotal mostró características no descritas en la literatura, peculiares para nuestra raza y a los que se les ha clasificado en: trenza, terminación delta, en varias cadenas, lecho de río, entrecortada y en lecho lacunar. El escrotograma mostró cuatro tipos de "impresiones”': lineal, granular, digital central y digital superior. La forma más frecuente fue la lobulada y simétrica, siendo la forma bilobulada y asimétrica la menos frecuente. Las características más frecuentes del prepucio fue del Grupo I con 73,67%, y en el Grupo II fue de 23,33 %, siendo más frecuente la rotación peniana hacia la izquierda de 45° (23,7%).Has been achieved an analytic descriptive work in 360 newborn males at neonatology service in "Manuel de Torres Muñoz" EsSalud Hospital, using the scrotumgraphy to determine the characteristics of the externa! genital. Has been that the scrotum wrinkles thin, join and angled characterizes to those newborn smaller than 38 weeks, while the scrotum wrinkles horizontal, thick and deep are more characteristic in those newborn bigger than 38 weeks, those that modify with gestational age (p <0,01). The scrotum raphe not showed paper-described characteristics, peculiar for our race and to those that have been classified in: braids, delta termination, in several chains, river bed, interrupted and in lacunar bed. The scrotumgraphy showed four types of "impressions": lineal, granulate, digital central and digital superior. The most frequent form was the lobate and symmetrical, being the form bilobar and asymmetric the less frequent one.
