description La tesis “incorporación de saberes ancestrales en sesiones de aprendizaje en el área de matemáticas” se realizó con la finalidad de recoger saberes ancestrales para incorporar en sesiones de aprendizaje. Esta investigación se realizó con tres saberes ancestrales: Papa Tarpuy o Siembra de Papa, Wasichakuy o Construcción de Casas, Kasarakuy o Matrimonio, los cuales fueron recogidos gracias al aporte y colaboración de los sabios, madres de familia y docentes. Esta investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo de carácter narrativo, su objetivo es recoger los saberes ancestrales para luego ser incorporadas en el diseño de sesiones para fortalecer el aprendizaje de los estudiantes desde su vivencia. Los resultados obtenidos de cada uno de los objetivos fueron cruciales y significativos. Así mismo en la aplicación de estas sesiones obtuvimos grandes logros en la comprensión y resolución de problemas matemáticos en los estudiantes. Se recomienda hacer investigaciones similares que fomenten la visibilización del conocimiento ancestral matemático en diferentes áreas del currículum nacional.

This research was carried out with three ancestral knowledge: Wasichakuy or Building Houses, Kasarakuy or Marriage and Papa Tarpuy or Planting Potatoes, thanks to the contribution and collaboration of wise men, mothers and teachers. This research has a qualitative narrative approach, its objective is to collect ancestral knowledge and then incorporate it into the design of sessions to strengthen students' learning from their experience. The results obtained from each of the objectives were crucial and significant. Likewise, in the application of these sessions we obtained great achievements in the students' understanding and resolution of problems. It is recommended to carry out similar research that promotes the visibility of ancestral mathematical knowledge in different areas of the national curriculum.
