Para ello hay formas de recuperar e integrar estos saberes y conocimientos ancestrales, por lo cual la educación es un componente importante para la conservación de estos saberes andinos. La integración de la sabiduría ancestral en el contexto educativo tiene el potencial de brindar a los estudiantes herramientas para cuidar su salud física y emocional. Esto no solo les permite aprender sobre las plantas medicinales, sino también cultivar una mayor conexión con la naturaleza y desarrollar habilidades de autocuidado. Este saber ancestral debe ser incorporado de manera efectiva en el currículo escolar, con el propósito de promover el bienestar y la salud de los estudiantes. Además, se espera generar conciencia y valoración de la cultura local y tradiciones ancestrales, así como fomentar la conexión entre la comunidad y la escuela.
