La villa es un conjunto de volúmenes y espacios dentro de un gran espacio verde donde acuden visitantes de distintas edades con la intención de alentar a sus deportistas, escuchar un concierto o disfrutar de un día de descanso. Los edificios de Nervi que este texto revisa forman parte de la historia de la arquitectura del siglo XX ligada al concreto armado, propuestas que son reconocidas por su gran plasticidad.
