Sumario: | The objective was to register the corpus of the jargon or youth language of the undergraduate students of the National University of San Cristóbal de Huamanga. Materials and methods. The material that was used were the bibliographic sources, survey and direct observation; the inductive method was applied. The research was of the basic type and the basic descriptive level wiht, quantitative aproach. Within the configuration results of the student jargon appear several phenomena such as the creation of lexicon from a specific situation of the students, the multiple valuation of lexies in the structuring of the jargon and the use of the loans by influence of others Languages like Quechua. Conclusion: From the data obtained, it can be pointed out that, rather than being a student jargon, it is configured as youth language. It is concluded that the expressions, lexicons and loans used by university students belong to a general youth group that shares the same space and social situations, in this case at the University. |
