This investigation is of essentially exploratory character that it looks for to include/understand the decentralization and the expectations of the citizenship in Conchucos under the Ancash Region. Decentralization that responds to one old aspiration of the country and constitutes one of the main challenges that during both last governments the diverse political forces have assumed like one of the high-priority aspects of the reform of the State. According to the local authorities, the decentralization is means that will allow to reach like objective to share the political power democratically, economic, social and cultural between the different political forces, in each one of the social spaces of the local, regional and national scope. The present article makes a revision of the studies related to the theory of the decentralization and it is classified according to the theoretical approach that is approached. Also, one picks up the points of view of Peruvian investigators (historians, economists and sociologists) that in the last years comes discussing on the process of decentralization in Peru. Of that way, the originating studies of decentralization of the classic ones of social sciences with their respective approaches are identified: economic, sociological, politológico. In each of them the central preoccupation around the decentralization and the democracy is examined. The objective is the necessity to motivate the interdisciplinary and compared studies, in order to include/ understand the resistances of the decentralization process.

Sociology as a profession has its beginnings from its professionalization in the 1960s, in which the theoretical, methodological and instrumental foundations are laid down, which guarantees its relevance and continuity as a social science. In this article, which is part of a forthcoming book, it is presented about the work history of sociologists in times of change and conflict, where the following research question is posed: How has the work experience of the Sociologists in times of change and conflict? The objective is to know the work trajectory from the 1960s to the present, in addition to highlighting the family background to understand intergenerational mobility through their educational and work level.

Due to its critical, demystifying and emancipating nature, the chair of sociological thinking contributes to the analysis of the relational nature of social processes, as well as the demands that the performance of its formative function requires. Hence, teaching becomes relevant, since it provides students with theoretical concepts, instruments and techniques so that they can approach reality with professional competence. In that sense, in the first class, I always wanted to know the students not only as a person, but mainly about their sociological thinking and abilities to carry out research and intervention as social managers. Students were asked a set of questions for their discussion in the classroom: what did they understand by sociology as a scientific discipline? What theoretical and methodological approaches had most influenced your professional training? among other questions....

La sociología como profesión tiene sus inicios a partir de su profesionalización en la década de 1960, en que se sientan las bases teóricas, metodológicas e instrumentales, con lo que se garantiza su pertinencia y continuidad como ciencia social. En este artículo, que es parte de un libro próximo a publicarse, se presenta acerca de la trayectoria laboral de los sociólogos en tiempos de cambio y de conflicto, donde se plantea la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿Cómo ha sido la trayectoria laboral de los sociólogos en tiempos de cambio y de conflicto? El objetivo es conocer la trayectoria laboral desde los años de 1960 hasta la actualidad, además de destacar los antecedentes familiares para comprender la movilidad intergeneracional a través de su nivel educativo y laboral.

La cátedra del pensar sociológico por su carácter crítico, desmitificador y emancipadora aporta en el análisis del carácter relacional de los procesos sociales, así como las exigencias que requiere el desempeño de su función formadora.
