Research on the prosecution of human trafficking is scarce in South America. This paper provides evidence of criminal procedures for this offense in Madre de Dios, one of Peru’s emblematic gold mining enclaves. I demonstrate that prosecutors’ behaviour is shaped by a plurality of actions, which contrasts contemporary scholarship focus on rational choice theory. I also shed light on penal selection patterns, or why prosecutors prioritize some cases instead of others. Although discretion is certainly a key aspect, I find that other variables—such as the cultural organization within justice practitioners—play an important role to explain the aforementioned behaviour.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue: Identificar la relación entre las plataformas digitales y el aprendizaje según los estudiantes de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad Científica del Perú 2022. El presente trabajo académico tiene como fin poder demostrar que existe una relación entre las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y el hecho de aprender el idioma inglés en alumnos de un instituto, 2024. La investigación adopta un enfoque cuantitativo y nivel correlacional. La muestra de este estudio se basa en 228 estudiantes encuestados. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad evaluar la frecuencia del tumor venéreo transmisible (TVT) en la casuística del Laboratorio de Histología, Embriología y Patología Animal (LHEPA) de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, durante los años 2016 al 2019, mediante la revisión de informes citológicos, histopatológicos y de necropsias. Además, se evaluó la asociación entre la presencia de tumor venéreo transmisible TVT y variables como la edad, sexo, raza del animal, localización del tumor y procedencia de la mascota. This inclusion is the result of the government and civil society organizations interest in producing policies aimed at reducing gender-based violence, and it has emerged as a result of a debate regarding «the increase in femicide» and the systematic appearance of media stories and official reports warning of an exponential growth. The study aimed to determine the relational connection between tax culture and property tax collection in the District Municipality of San Juan Bautista, 2024. It was quantitatively focused and designed to avoid experimental methods, being cross-sectionally correlational, and showed that the Spearman coefficient was 0.846**, with sig=0.000**; concluding the existence of a correlational relationship between the examined variables. These findings provide an empirical basis for designing public policies aimed at strengthening citizen tax compliance, with a direct impact on the financial sustainability of local governments.
