In the present work we study the influence of disorder on the electronic level statistics of a copper nanoparticle with 3568 atoms (Cu3568). The most stable configuration was obtained from molecular dynamic simulations employing a Johnson’s potential for copper. The results indicate that for weak disorder on the on-site energy of the tight-binding Hamiltonian, the nearest-neighbors level spacing distribution is similar to the Wigner distribution. Howerver, for strong disorder the distribution changes to a Poisson-like distribution which is expected for strongly disordered systems.

Terbium-doped aluminum nitride thin films have been deposited by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. The influence of annealing treatments on structural, morphological and luminescence properties of the films is examined with the aim to optimize post-deposition annealing conditions. Temperatures starting from 500 up to 1000°C using two annealing techniques were investigated: rapid thermal processing and quartz tube furnace. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the formation of aluminum oxide and aluminum oxynitride phases at temperatures higher than 750°C. The oxygen content in the surface layer was measured with energy dispersive X-ray. The terbium emission was obtained after excitation either by photons or electrons. The films treated with rapid thermal processing at 750°C resulted in the highest emission. © 2017 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Introduction. This article summarizes the clinical practice guidelines (CPG) for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema of the Health Social Security of Peru (EsSalud). Objective. To provide clinical recommendations based on evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema in EsSalud. Methods. A guidelines elaborating group (GEG) was conformed by medical specialists and methodologists. The GEG formulated 4 clinical questions intended to be answered by this CPG. For each of these questions systematic searches of systematic reviews and primary studies (when considered pertinent) were carried out in PubMed during 2018. Evidence was selected in order to reply each of the proposed clinical questions. The certainty of the evidence was evaluated using the Grading of Recommendati...
