In the prologue to the book Twilight of the idols (1888), Nietzsche writes: “This writing too —the title gives it away— is above all a respite, a place in the sun, a getaway to the idleness of a psychologist” (2016, p. 618). And later, in another reflection presented in the book, he affirms: “Educators are needed who are themselves educated” (2016, p. 652). These two quotes are the starting point to reflect on education in Peru from a critical perspective, about its problems and possibilities. The educative reality and the national magisterial situation. Characteristics and problems in a nietzschean interpretation where it is claimed the existence of the nihilism in great part of the teachers, who live diary situations of professional frustration about the scarce cognitive achievements of their students. The crisis comes from the professor that self-identifies as a “specialist in teaching courses”. The possibility of personal and professional overcoming is found at the practice of “eternal recurrence” to the vocation. A quest for creative professional development in a permanent innovative attitude founded in the affirmation of identity as an educator and the will of power in the task of integral formation of the student.

Peruvian teachers’ situation in state schools is defined by the magisterial nihilism that is mining the spirit and sense of the educational activity protagonists. Meanwhile, in pedagogy, do we have great and new questions? Great and relevant goals and purposes? Everything has already been said in pedagogy? Bioeducation, that is to say, education at the service of a life concept, a concept based in a saying yes to life, yes to our educational reality, to practice the Never-ending return, to build an attitude of educator, of persons former. Training in curriculum, lead by Education Ministry, is qualified as compulsive, the “new faith”. Are we before a slow process of extinction or decomposition of Peruvian teachers and state educational institutions, under the details of the magisterial nihilism illness?

Geoethics is based on community relation with geoscientist (Amiry & Bohle, 2017). Nevertheless, there are many cases, such as Africa where communities do not concern about geoscience activities because they got not involved before the projects started, a similar situation happened was found in Peru with mining activities. At the beginning of 2014, the Peruvian Section of IAPG (IAPG-Peru) started to share the principles of the IAPG (Peppoloni & Di Capua, 2012). IAPG provides knowledge for ethical work around Geoscience, for their development and successful application (Di Capua et al., 2016).
