Objetivo: Describir las características de los pacientes con neumonía intrahospitalaria, hospitalizados en el área de cuidado intermedios del servicio de medicina del Hospital Regional de Ayacucho. Enero - abril del 2022. Materiales y Métodos: Es un tipo de estudio observacional descriptivo, diseño no experimental-reporte de serie de casos retrospectivo. La población fue representada por 110 pacientes hospitalizados, de los cuales se revisaron sus HCL, estos pacientes fueron mayores de 18 años. La muestra estuvo representada por 16 historias clínicas de los pacientes que han sido diagnosticado con NIH en el área de UCIN del Servicio de Medicina del H.R.A. Enero - abril del 2022.
