Introducción: El uso de opioides en la crisis aguda de migraña sigue siendo muy común en los departamentos de emergencia, a pesar de que muchas recomendaciones van en contra de esta práctica. Objetivo: Determinar la eficacia y seguridad de los opioides en el tratamiento de la crisis de migraña. Métodos: Se realizó una revision sistemática en la que se incluyeron ensayos clínicos aleatorizados (ECA) publicados hasta febrero de 2022, que evaluaran la eficacia y seguridad de los opioides versus placebo u otros medicamentos, en el tratamiento de la crisis de migraña.
