This clinical case report presents the sequence of surgical treatment of a dentigerous cyst and intraoperative complication of displacement of the tooth within the cyst. The dentigerous cyst is the second most common odontogenic cyst. It is generally associated with the crown of an impacted normal tooth, usually with lower third molars and maxillary canines. One of the surgical treatment (enucleation) of the cysts is indicated in cases where complete removal of pathological tissue is required and even removal of the teeth involving odontogenic cysts; however, if treatment is not done they can become other dental pathologies involving adjacent pieces to injury. Clinical sequence of surgical approach is presented for extracting a tooth associated with a dentigerous cyst.

La Artrocentesis de la articulación temporomandibular (ATM) es una alternativa de tratamiento eficaz; mínimamente invasiva para la abertura bucal limitada debido al desarreglo interno discal irreductible o al deterioro de las estructuras de la ATM que producen artralgia severa que no cede con tratamientos conservadores. Se presenta un caso clínico de una paciente con limitación de abertura y dolor orofacial intenso que se soluciono satisfactoriamente con lavaje articular con un nuevo dispositivo de una sola punción. Se mejora la abertura bucal con el consiguiente alivio del dolor y satisfacción del paciente en una sola sesión. Utilizando este dispositivo, no se requiere la inserción de dos agujas; lo que facilita, el procedimiento y lo hace menos invasivo.

The tissue adhesive based on cyanoacrylate monomers created by their investigators for the synthesis of recent surgical or traumatic wounds, has had a really extensive use in skin wounds treatment. In this investigation the cyanoacrylate is evaluated in the synthesis of mucoperiostal flaps in the buccal cavity comparing with the use of conventional silk suture 3/0. For this reason 20 patients of the Central Clinic Surgery Service of our Dentistry Faculty, who were going to have a surgical intervention for the extraction of impacted teeth, were selected, the mucoperiostal flaps synthesis were made using both methods. To carry out this investigation, eight patients 15 to 21 years old of Central Clinic of UNMSM Dentistry Faculty who had the indication for. first permanent molar extraction and at the same time had a third molar germ in eruption, were selected. The germ was at least in a Nolla development stage 7, 8 ó 9. Having the patient´s respective consent they underwent the autotransplantation of the germ to the socket of the first molar within the same quadrant. Cases were followed for a 12 weeks period. DIfferent tests to determine J the donor tooth was vital or not, were done. Para llevar a cabo la presente investigación se seleccionaron ocho pacientes de la Clínica Central de la Facultad de Odontología, de 15 a 21 años de edad, que tenían la indicación para extracción de la primera molar permanente, y a la vez, poseían el germen de la tercera molar del mismo cuadrante en erupción, cuya raíz se encontraba por lo menos en un estadío Nolla de 7, 8 ó 9.
