El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el contenido nutricional y la digestibilidad in vivo de la materia seca de tres variedades de alfalfa (Alfamaster 10, Moapa 69 y Supersonic) en la alimentación de cuyes. Se utilizaron 15 cuyes machos de raza Perú (cinco por variedad), que se alojaron en jaulas metabólicas individuales. Se tuvo un periodo de acostumbramiento y evaluación. En la última etapa se registró el consumo de materia seca y el peso de las heces. Además, se determinó el contenido nutricional de las variedades de alfalfa. The intensive use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture contributes to environmental pollution, which has driven the search for sustainable alternatives such as organic fertilizers. Among these, biofertilizer has garnered interest due to its potential to improve crop growth and yield. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of two types of biofertilizer: Bio Chumbinia (standardized) and traditional biofertilizer, as well as a control treatment (water), on the morphology, growth, yield, and leaf area of Maralfalfa (Pennisetum sp.).
