Se desarrolló un estudio para conocer los niveles de contaminación del aire por PM10 generada por los aserraderos en las Cooperativas Huaytapallana y virgen de la Soledad. Se plantearon como objetivos determinar el nivel de contaminación del aire por PMw producido por los aserraderos, determinar las áreas de influencia por el PM10 producido por los aserraderos, asimismo la variación de las variables meteorológicas y el PM10 emitido por las actividades de la madera. Para tal caso se ubicaron 4 estaciones de monitoreo; E1: Jr. Las Agata; E2: Jr. Gemas; E3: Centro inicial Semillitas del Futuro y E4: Jr. Esmeraldas. The physicochemical properties (antioxidant activity, total polyphenols and tannins contents) of tara extracts have been obtained. Samples were taken from the pod of tara (powder, fiber, seed coat and the inside of the seed) by maceration and Soxhlet extraction. All extracts have high antioxidant activity with an IC50 between 10 and 121 µg/mL. The total polyphenol content varies between 40 and 150 mg GAE/g of sample and the tannins content varies between 22 and 80%.
