El objetivo del estudio fue tipificar a los productores de quinua de la región Junín y analizar su nivel de eficiencia técnica según el uso de sus recursos productivos. Se realizaron 454 encuestas presenciales a los productores de quinua en la región Junín en las provincias de Chupaca, Concepción, Huancayo y Jauja tipificándose a los productores en base a criterios sociales, operacionales, productivos, estructurales, utilizándose la metodología de la Unión Geográfica Internacional (UGI) y técnica estadística multi-variada de Cluster Bietápico; luego de ello, se analizó la eficiencia productiva de cada uno de ellos, con una Función de Producción Estocástica. The ecosystem service of water regulation is one of the most important offered by the high[1]Andean ecosystems. However, knowledge about its contribution in hydrological terms is still scarce and its estimation is difficult, due to the complex eco-hydrological and climatic processes, and environmental characteristics of the Andes. Therefore, the influence of three types of ecosystems (humid puna grassland, tropical high-Andean wetland (bofedal) and Polylepis forest) was estimated on water flows, particularly flows that reach underground storage, which is equivalent to the ecosystem service of water regulation.
