La investigación, es debido al incremento de generación de RS en domicilios, que por su disposición no adecuada causan contaminación de aguas, suelo y aire. Actualmente un 2 % se emplean como materia prima para la producción de compost y humus. Planteamos emplear los RSOB como materia prima para la elaboración de alimentos para aves por fermentación. Iniciando la selección en domicilio de RSOB en la ciudad de Huaraz en un día; la elaboración se realiza triturando los RS, hidrolizando térmicamente, transformando con, y sin fermento en cantidades semejantes; en el proceso de fermentación se controló el pH, temperatura y producción de alcohol; realizándose el secado respectivo por 10 días. El trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en el centro experimental Tuyu Ruri empleando humedales artificiales para ello se utilizó especies nativas de la zona, se implementó un biodigestor como unidad de tratamiento fisicoquímico y microbiológico, en el cual, parte de la materia orgánica que está presente en el agua residual va a ser removida; luego se diseñó y construyó dos humedales, uno con Equisetum Bogotense (cola de caballo) y otro con Zantedeschia Aethiopica (cartucho).
