This descriptive corelational work states the following: First, the questions customary to applicants for the Humanities, Social Sciencies and Economics of Business General Admission Test 2014 - II vary in scale from Extremely Easy. In general, most of the questions qualify as Hard, Medium and Easy.

El presente trabajo descriptivo-correlacional afirma lo siguiente: primero, las preguntas elaboradas, comunes a los postulantes a Humanidades, Ciencias Sociales y Económico- Empresariales, de la Prueba General de Admisión 2014-II varían en la escala extremadamente difícil-extremadamente fácil. En general, la mayoría de las preguntas califican como difícil, intermedio y fácil. Sin embargo, existe un patrón sistemático a la mayoría de las áreas académicas: por los resultados, los ítems relativos al área curricular Matemática y Ciencia, Tecnología y Ambiente califican como extremadamente difícil y Habilidad Lógico Matemática, como extremadamente fácil. Purpose: O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) promoter methylation predicts the outcome and response to alkylating chemotherapy in glioblastoma. The aim of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of MGMT methylation in Peruvian glioblastoma cases. Patients and methods: We evaluated retrospectively 50 cases of resected glioblastoma during the period 2008-2013 at Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplasicas in Peru. Samples consisted of paraffin embedded and frozen tumour tissue. MGMT-promoter methylation status and the expression level of MGMT gene were evaluated by methylation-specific PCR and real-time PCR, respectively. Aim: To correlate levels of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) evaluated using the International Immuno-Oncology Biomarker Working Group methodology, and both density of tumor-infiltrating immune cell and clinicopathological features in different malignancies. Methods: 209 pathological samples from gastric cancer, cervical cancer (CC), non-small-lung cancer, cutaneous melanoma (CM) and glioblastoma were tested for TIL in hematoxylin eosin, and density of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD20+, CD68+ and CD163+ cells by digital analysis. Results: TIL levels were higher in invasive margin compartments (IMC). TIL in IMC, intratumoral and stromal compartments predicted survival.
