The work analyzes the international instruments that recognize the human rights of women and how the States parties have adopted special temporary measures aimed at achieving substantive equality between women and men. In the case of the Peruvian State, it provides an account of the legal reception of its responsibilities assumed as a State Party regarding the recognition and protection of women's human rights, and how Peruvian jurisprudence interprets and applies them. The legislative background of the law that incorporated the criminal offense of feminicide will be analyzed, as well as the reasons that justify this regulatory change. Likewise, the current problem regarding the objective typicality in these cases is developed, given the discrepancies in criteria regarding the analysis of the active and passive subject of the crime of feminicide. The author emphasizes that not all aggression against a woman should be presumed carried out under the gender motive, since this must be accredited. It develops the concepts of Violence against women because of their gender, structural discrimination, gender stereotypes and gender approach. Based on the conceptual development, it analyzes how to apply the gender approach and identify gender stereotypes, by developing a practical case of violence against women due to their condition as such, typically subsumed in the crime of attempted femicide. Finally, the author develops the proposal in order to identify the position of dominance in the interpersonal dynamics between victim/perpetrator.

Young Lives: Un estudio internacional sobre la pobreza en la infancia tiene como objetivo mejorar nuestra comprensión de las causas y consecuencias de la pobreza infantil en el mundo en desarrollo, e informar las políticas para reducirla. En cada uno de los cuatro países en desarrollo, una encuesta longitudinal seguirá a niños cada tres años hasta los 15 años. En Perú, el proyecto es implementado por tres organizaciones, el Instituto de Investigación de Nutrición (IIN), el Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (GRADE) y Save The Children UK (SC Reino Unido).
