The present research study sought to establish the epistemological perspective of mathematics as the basis of science. Focused on the fundamental or basic research, the reason, our purpose was to deepen, increase and as much as possible generate knowledge about epistemology of mathematics, and mathematics as the basis of science. Near the study's epilogue, we arrived at the following result: mathematics is the basis of the sciences, because it is the nature's and cosmos' language and both are expressed only through mathematics; similarly, because the measurement is a basic factor for the construction of scientific knowledge, discover new theories and laws. To end up, we came to the conclusion that it was established that mathematics is the basis of sciences, essentially of the natural sciences and to a lesser extent of the social sciences. Philosophy has a reflexive relationship with mat...

González (2011) states that learning theories are aware that all research must have logical coherence. We define the general objective of our research as follows: to establish the philosophical perspective of mathematics as a fundamental component of science and as an object of scientific research. Later on, we determine the type of research, which was fundamental or basic. Our purpose is to deepen and expand knowledge about the epistemology of mathematics and mathematics as the foundation of science. Near the end of the study, we arrive at the following result: Mathematics is the foundation of science because it is the language of nature and the cosmos. Both are expressed only through mathematics, and measurement is a basic factor in the construction of scientific knowledge, the discovery of new theories and laws, and it also constitutes an object of scientific research. Finally, we co...

The research which is entitled critical view of the nature of unquestionable truth of mathematics, were like sub headings: philosophical meditations on the truth; pragmatic conception of truth, thesis on the truth in the phenomenological direction. Fecundity of the error in mathematical logic, which in turn contains: failure of the logización of mathematics in Gottlof Frege, Russell paradox: impossibility of completely formalized arithmetic and the axiomatic Hilbert and the failure of the ideal of rigorous formalization. Philosophical meaning of Kurt Gödel's theorem, which also has subtitles: Gödel's theorem philosophically understood as a principle a posteriori, relativity of absolute truth in mathematics according to the theorem of Gödel and inconsistency of the character of unquestionable truth of mathematics. Methods used were: the dialectical hermeneutic and phenomenological, th...

Among the basic skills needed by a modern teacher can cite those related to reading skills, writing, information management, ICT management, teamwork, among others. This set of competencies is essential because the first two not only allow access to knowledge, butalso the written communication what is learned.Unfortunately the various tests applied by the MOE since 2007, has demonstrated that teachers inthese skills show low activity levels.Similar assessments applied to college students of the Faculty of Education Section Obas also showlow levels of reading comprehension, thus showing that the problem is not exclusive reference activeteachers, but also teachers in training. Overcoming these limitations can lead us to pose a number of creative ideas. From our position wehave raised the idea of overcoming this difficulty from the reading workshops. Indeed, comparing theresults before and af...

A look at the history of science or, more simply, to the evolution of societies where science has been institutionalized, can convince us that science has no limits in its ability to knowledge of the world, technological implementation and intervention in the course of physical events and social. However, this assumption should be regarded with caution and analyzed taking into account many elements. That is why we proposed demonstrate, by making use of the hermeneutical method, that scientific knowledge has its limits. After a rigorous work our students arrived to the conclusion that scientific knowledge if you have limits. Among the elements that were considered as possible limits of science are the laws, theories and principles that govern the behavior of nature, between them we have: The laws of thermodynamics, the special theory of relativity and the uncertainty principle
