Twelve Von Reck1inghausen cases were studied finding more incidence within the 31-40 years group, with an incidence of 50% (6 cases). In the intraoral area there was more incidence in the palate, (5 cases 41.7%) but in the type of lesion the peripherical modules were more frequent (8 cases, 66.6%). The peripherical nodules were like nipples, but in case 4 it was like papule of 8 to 10 mm of diameter. Tumors o diffuse masses were detected in 3 cases (25%) being subcutaneous along the nerve. It was observed in the hard palate a soft lesion with 20 mm of diameter which was the same color of the underlying mucous. In the radiographic examination it was found alveolar bone loss in 7 cases (58.3%) as found in the serial radiographies. Se ha estudiado 12 casos de la enfermedad de Von Recklighausen; la mayor incidencia fue entre las edades 31-40 años, 6 casos 50% es en la edad adulta que desarrolla plenamente los tumores cutáneos y manchas "café con leche " (5). En la localización bucal las lesiones presentaron mayor incidencia en la región del paladar, 5 casos 41.7%. En el estudio del Tipo de lesión clínica bucal neorofibromatosa se hallaron nódulos periféricos con mayor incidencia en 8 casos, 66.6%; los nódulos de piel fueron de aspecto de "pesón ", en cambio en labio como en el caso 4 fue de aspecto papular de 8 mmd. The effects of organic and conventional crop systems on chemical composition, antioxidant activity and functional properties were evaluated in white and dark chia (Salvia hispanica L.) seeds. The organic system reduced the total protein content, and increased the total carbohydrates but did not change polyunsaturated fatty acids, total phenolic or flavonoids. Organic white chia seeds showed the best techno-functional properties. The antioxidant capacity of chia extracts varied in relation to the chemical complexity and differential rate kinetics of different assays. Extractable total phenolic acids and antioxidant capacity were better in organic white chia seeds. Since the experimental obtention of graphenen in 2004, the two dimensional crystalline systems was a study subject of strong analysis from theoretical and experimental point of view. The analytical methods goes from tight binding, Dirac equations for K and K’ points to functional density theories. The present work is an initial study of the electronic structure and the phonon frequencies spectra of 2D crystalline systems using functional density theory. We use the Exciting Fortran 90 code and GPAW Python code. The results of electronic structure for some 2D lattices are shown and also the graphene phonon frequencies spectra.

Niña de siete días de edad, cuya madre refiere que “nació con un bulto en la boca”. Durante la lactancia materna perdía leche por el labio superior en poca cantidad. En la inspección clínica se encontraron tres lóbulos (uno palatino y dos vestibulares) en el rodete maxilar superior del lado izquierdo. Diagnóstico presuntivo: épulis congénito del recién nacido. Después de 27 días del diagnóstico regresó a consulta. No presentaba a la inspección el lóbulo palatino. Se realizó cirugía convencional para el caso, extirpando de manera total la tumoración. Se envió la pieza quirúrgica a patología resultando como diagnóstico definitivo: épulis congénito del recién nacido.

Material and Methods: Twenty seven placentas were collected from normal pregnant women who had prenatal care at Clinica Villa Maria–EsSalud. Patients who had diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, preeclampsia, nephropathy, Rh isoimmunization and anemia were not included. The specimens were rinsed with tap water for 30 minutes, the fetal membranes were trimmed off at the level of its insertion. The placentas were weighed and the umbilical vessels were catheterized and flushed with 100 mL of normal saline solution and then the acrylic solution (15 mL of liquid with 7,5 of powder) was injected. The placentas were immersed in hot water for 30 minutes then fixed in 10% formaldehyde for two hours and finally immersed in hydrochloric acid for 7 days in order to obtain the acrylic cast of the placental vascul...
