The purpose of this paper is to analyze Austin's proposal regarding the performative function of language and, through the case of approaching the problem of communicative intention, assess whether the considerations of the restrictive nature of the hegemonic propositional-informative function are compatible with the approaches of Larrosa and Salazar Bondy regarding the need for a renewal in the philosophy of education.

In the present work it is made up of five parts. The first is dedicated to presenting the problem of the exercise of freedom and the consequences that it entails both in the republican and in the liberal model and, of course, it’s different variants. The second part works on the importance of promoting civic values in republicanism, as well as the counterproductive consequences. The third part problematizes if a liberal model can also arrive at a more cooperative and participative position. A distinction is made between psychological egoism (EP), ethical egoism (EE) and rational egoism (ER), to analyze which of the latter fits the liberal model. Finally, in the last part, it is proposed that a cooperative version from a liberal perspective is based, following Nozick, on the «ethical push» and the search to make our lives meaningful. Our main hypothesis is that ethical motivatio...

The present work is composed of three parts. The first is dedicated to presenting an approach to the distinction between ethics and morals. The second part works on the importance of concepts such as "moral basis", "search for value" and "moral sensitivity" developed by Nozick (1981). The third section presents the relevance of the ethical commitment to the exercise of citizenship based on Nozick's approaches to the “ethical push” and in the search to make our life meaningful. The main hypothesis of this study is that there is a continuity between ethical motivation, ethical commitment and the democratic exercise of citizenship.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the proposal of Kant’s ethics and see how it is possible to educate people in the moral field based on this theory. Therefore, the distinctions of actions are made explicit by duty and according to duty, where the former allows the adoption of universal moral laws in order to guide human action by implying that the subject should see people as an end in itself, in a dignified manner and not see them as means; while the second, contemplates performing moral actions for a purpose other than duty itself. Therefore, unveiling the ethics of Kant we will show that in our days it is vital for moral education to inculcate in young people a Kantian moral perspective because from such a theory we can derive perfectly the moral actions that are needed in our society. It is not intended to derive from moral actions the importance of Kantian ethics because we...
