El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo general, determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas frente al covid-19 en comerciantes del Mercado Modelo de Huacho – 2021, Metodología: el estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo, de diseño no experimental, con una población de 133 comerciantes, se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. Resultados: En la dimensión lavado de manos 47,4% de los comerciantes en cuanto a las medidas preventivas frente al Covid-19, tiene un nivel de conocimiento bajo. Asimismo, en cuanto a la dimensión uso de implementos de protección personal, el de nivel de conocimiento es medio con 39,8%. According to the Pan American Health Organization, noncommunicable diseases, including cancer, are the leading causes of preventable and premature death in the Americas. Governments and health care systems in Latin America face numerous challenges as a result of increasing morbidity and mortality from cancer. Multiple international organizations have recognized the need for collaborative action on and technical support for cancer research and control in Latin America.
