At the National Intercultural University “Fabiola Salazar Leguía” in Bagua, the student population is made up of 50% of students from native Amazonian communities, mostly Awajún and to a lesser extent Wampis; and the other 50% are mestizos. The curricula of the professional careers of Civil Engineering and Biotechnology contemplate in their basic curricular structure the physics course, being this one of greater difficulty for the learning of the students, as evidenced in the academic records of the 2018-I cycles and 2019-I. The objective of the work was to formulate two intercultural didactic proposals for the learning of physics in university higher education, the first is the Awajún Ethnophysics, which consists of a look at common knowledge (ancestral knowledge) by the hand of Physics, through stories lived by the same students about their experiences, they constitute a workboo...

The conditions of compulsory social confinement as a measure to stop the spread of COVID-19 has had repercussions in academic spaces, in this way both students and university teachers are prevented as a health measure from using laboratories, which implies a difficulty for the teaching-learning, especially in subjects that have a considerable practical component or laboratory hours, as is the case of physics courses. It is in this context that the civil engineering students of the V cycle, through the course of numerical methods, developed the numerical simulation of Monte Carlo. For this purpose, several virtual activities were established, such as the realization of a training workshop in programming language; in the same way, the design of a flow diagram or algorithm was carried out and then implemented in BASIC programming codes. The objective of this research is to numerically simul...

This research was developed within the framework of non-face-to-face education due to the sanitary conditions that currently exist due to COVID-19 at the “Fabiola Salazar Leguía” National Intercultural University of Bagua, in the professional career of Civil Engineering, whose syllabic structure The course of Numerical Methods allows to develop experimental activities related to numerical and graphic simulation. This experience arises from the need to establish significant learning, the objective pursued by this investigation is to apply the Monte Carlo method to solve a specific geometry problem that consists of determining the volume of coconut pulp, highlighting that in the province of Bagua and Coconut is produced significantly in neighboring areas, and it is necessary to know its volume for the purposes of marketing its pulp and subsequent extraction of oils. The proposed algor...

The objective of this research is to reassess the mathematical knowledge that is evidenced in Awajún ceramics and link them as a playful strategy for teaching canal hydraulics to civil engineering students of the "Fabiola Salazar Leguía" National Intercultural University of Bagua. The methodology used consisted of conducting observational and descriptive studies. The relevance of the approach lies in describing the ancestral practices and customs of a given community in relation to its cultural context. The research was developed in three stages: i) Documentary review, as well as graphic and virtual sources of information on Awajún ceramics. ii) Samples of Awajún ceramics were collected and interviews were conducted with Awajún women. iii) Profiles of hydraulic channels were elaborated whose reference are the geometric figures that appear in the Awajún ceramics molded in pieces of ...

The objective of this research was to deepen the understanding of ethnomathematics developed by masons in the Amazonian regions of Peru. To this end, the mathematical concepts implicit in the masons' practices were identified and analyzed, as well as to understand the role of culture and the natural environment in the configuration of this knowledge. The type of study was considered ethnographic, and consisted of gathering information through observation. A questionnaire was applied, with the purpose of evidencing the procedures carried out by the masons in the resolution of labor calculations using the fundamental operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) of ethnomathematical origin. In the same way, scientific articles were reviewed. One of the key findings of this research is the integration of mathematical concepts in the labor practice of masons. It was observe...
