One of the main problems faced by small rural farming units is to develop and implement managerial models that contribute to leverage their natural potential and boost their productive development. In order to mitigate the impact of this problem, a cross-section, exploratorydescriptive, non-experimental and prospective research was carried on, between 2008 and 2011. The main propose of this research was to design a model for autonomous development which integrates the public, private and academic sectors in order to ensure the use of the resources in a sustainable and competitive manner taking into account agricultural practices, water resources, technological park, non-traditional activities (tourism and aquaculture ) and government public policies.

The research is focused on a business game known as the beer game which was applied to a metal mechanic company. The main difference of this research, with respect to other studies, is the choice of participants (company staff performing similar roles). The methodology applied different scenarios to obtain the data and the results: unknown information, wellknown demand, cooperation and communication. The experimental results in a production and distribution system of a furniture company shows experimentally the value of access to information and its effect on profitability and business efficiency with the delivery of products and services in the time and the right place, avoiding unnecessary costs and inadequate management of resources.

Products known as "Superfoods" are currently in high demand in international markets. Peru has a great variety, among them, maca, quinoa, kiwicha and others, which have attracted interest in many markets because they are natural, organic, functional and nutraceutical products. Peru endorses them in order to promote the biocommerce of the "Superfoods Peru", combined with activities of organic certification, fair trade and associativity. They are fundamental parts for the development of companies formed by communities, that obtain economic benefits with improved quality of life for families and communities. PROMACA works with this model where it implements these organic agricultural practices, promotes specialization, fair trade, innovation and associativity among members, thus generating a greater benefit for those involved in the chain, for customers and the ecosystem.

The gamitana is a fish native to the Amazon and Orinoco River basin, with a growing demand in Peru, especially in supermarkets and restaurants specializing in traditional Amazonian jungle cuisine, with an estimated demand of approximately 600 kilos per week, due to the product’s quality, homogeneous organoleptic properties, strict quality control, certifications and product auditing. The objectives of this study are to redefine the strategy and redesign the supply chain of Puñizas SAC, a familyrun company located in Junín dedicated to gamitana production and distribution to supermarkets and Amazonian restaurants in Lima, in order to add value to clients focused on product (gamitana) flow.

This research was conducted for Productores Asociados de Chirimoya de Kalidad Óptima (PROACHIRKO); agricultural association created in 2009 with fifty partners, located in the district of Leoncio Prado province of Huaura, Lima Region. They are dedicated to the cultivation and harvesting of cherimoya in different natural conditions. The research aims to develop an action plan based on a proposed model of business management partnership that includes the coordinated participation of public, private and academic sectors together, with an integration based on trust; however, competitiveness should improve and expand its offerings in the global market. Through research PROACHIRKO will be analyzed: their productive, administrative, associative aspects characteristics are identified, among others, to propose a model that will allow them to ensure their permanence in the local market and capita...

One of the main challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic brought was the continuity of education. In this context, this work focuses on analyzing the practice of higher education in the discipline of Engineering and its related academic programs with a future perspective, motivated by the limitations and challenges imposed by the pandemic. To ensure high-quality education, it was relevant to give continuity to the education of students, maintaining active, experiential, student-centered learning experiences that are relevant to developing their skills, despite their remote interaction and frequent technological deficiencies. and educational resources. Thus, this work proposes a conceptual scheme to guide the design and reflection of learning experiences with a post-pandemic perspective. This scheme is composed of six dimensions of innovation and educational leadership for higher education...

In recent years, agriculture has become an essential activity in Colombia, despite the challenges faced by farmers due to low yields and insufficient resources to improve their main activities, such as irrigation systems, agricultural practices, and industrial machinery. This Hass avocado approach has been addressed in previous research considering system dynamics simulation to evaluate farmers’ behavior strategies and improve their competitiveness. However, these studies typically examine a single strategy effect and avoid multiple integrated strategies. Other studies focused on the complex interactions between different factors in the production chain and their feedback effects on farmers’ productivity and cash flow. For these reasons, this research provides a comprehensively dynamic model and evaluates long-term strategies and their effects on supporting and improving small farmer...

Colombia has positioned itself as a significant actor in Hass avocado production, capitalizing on the rising global demand and its suitable climate for the crop. These conditions have led to considerable investments from farmers. In this business environment, this research presents a systematic simulation and methodological approach for the evaluation of crops focusing on the Hass avocado and its extension to small-scale producers in Colombia. The initial phase involved a comprehensive analysis of key variables in the Hass avocado production chain, assessing productivity and viability. Subsequently, a dynamic model was developed to explore four scenarios spanning 13 years. The first scenario evaluated the production chain’s current behavior, while the second scrutinized the impact of credit accessibility. The third scenario analyzed the associativity among producers’ effects, and the...
