The use of oil and its derivatives has been intensified by the current high energy demand, but brought with it the increase in environmental accidents such as fuel spills that negatively affect ecosystems. In those environments there are microorganisms capable of surviving such conditions and using petroleum hydrocarbons as a source of carbon and energy; those can be used in bioremediation, with an eco-friendly and cost-effective approach. In this work, bacterial strains with bioremediation potential were isolated and identified in culture media supplemented with oil from an area contaminated from an oil spill in the Peruvian Amazon; also was done out the characterization of the bacterial community by independent analysis of culture by means of next generation sequencing directed to the 16S rRNA gene. El mercurio (Hg), es uno de los elementos más peligrosos que existen en la tierra, sin embargo, es uno de los metales más empleados en la minería aurífera artesanal sin las medidas de seguridad para su uso y desecho de residuos, causando serios problemas ambientales y de salud humana. En estos ambientes impactados por mercurio residen microorganismos como las bacterias que han desarrollado estrategias para la sobrevivencia en dichas condiciones gracias a la presencia de genes específicos para la conversión de compuestos mercúricos muy tóxicos en menos tóxicos, volatilizarlo y/o bioacumularlo. En zonas contaminadas con hidrocarburos, existen microorganismos capaces de sobrevivir a tales condiciones y es importante estudiarlos para la biorremediación. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar molecularmente el perfil de la comunidad bacteriana de zonas contaminadas con hidrocarburos en la provincia de Nieva, Amazonas, Perú. El análisis dependiente de cultivo permitió aislar a partir de muestras de agua y suelo los géneros: Pseudomonas, Proteus, Serratia, Morganella, Klebsiella, Enterobacter y Acinetobacter identificados por secuenciamiento parcial del gen 16S ARNr; y análisis de datos en BLAST de NCBI.
