The purpose of this study is to carry out a preliminary tour of the different purposes that the Peruvian university has set since the replica of institutionalizing the environmental issue was implemented, and later, that of installing Climate Change (CC) in its deepest structure as the main challenge in the field of Higher Education (SE). The enormous burden that represents the planetary crisis to which humanity has brought it on a canon epistemic occidentalocéntrico requires a replica. For Ramón Grosfoguel, to change the geopolitics of knowledge of the modern world system/ colonial capitalist/ patriarchal by a look and positioning structural from the pluriversalismo transmoderno decolonial, is to find in the package of power relations not only contents economic, political and military, but a wide range of articulations that were buried by a eurocentric modernity. The study stops its analysis in the multiple socio-environmental manifestations germinated in the Peruvian territory against a globalized capitalism. The methodology takes its momentum in the documentary research and the bibliographical analysis. Faced with the expansion of mining activity in recent years and the high socio-environmental impacts provoked in Peru, those affected undertake struggles in search of the recognition of environmental justice. For the vulnerable in Santa Ana (2011), Conga (2011-2014), Las Bambas (2015) and Tia Maria (2015) the idea of climate justice is a right that is being injured.

This work analyzes some of the preliminary implications that the COVID-19 pandemic has had in Higher Education. Faced with the panorama of global repression and immediate impacts, different Higher Education Institutions decided to adopt distance education. The same that has not only led to re-inventing teaching and reorganizing the teaching-learning process. But besides, it also deepened the gap and the real structural conditions of a disadvantaged student population. Consequently, it is doubly meritorious to strengthen a distance education that does not only include the mere participation of the training institutions themselves.
