Objective: To determine the characteristics of use and factors associated with the demand of the female condom in users of the first level centers health of the Callao Region. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study. The population was made up of users of health facilities of the first level of care of the Ventanilla Health Network locates in the Callao Region, during the years 2017-2018. The sample was not probabilistic, composed of users of family planning service who decided to use the female condom as a contraceptive method. Results: Twenty users of the female condom with an average age of 37.4 years (SD = 8.1, Range: 23 to 50). 75% of women who opted for the female condom as their contraceptive method of choice made the use of the method effective. Objective: To determine the frequency of prenatal care (PNC) and obstetric psychoprophylaxis (OP) sessions in pregnant women who come to the Mi Perú Health Center, in the Mi Perú district, Callao Region. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study. The population was made up of pregnant women attended at the Mi Perú Health Center during 2019. The sample was census including 278 pregnant women, 10 were discarded due to incomplete data. The instrument used was a questionnaire made up of sociodemographic characteristics, maternal characteristics, and prenatal and postnatal care. Objective: To determine the prevalence of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B in pregnant women who received prenatal care in primary health-care facilities of the Ventanilla Health Network, Callao Region. Materials and methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study. The population was made up of pregnant women attended and registered in the “Wawared” Web Platform of primary health-care facilities considered in the study. The sample included 5,185 pregnant women who received prenatal care in the period from January 2019 to June 2020, whose first prenatal care was entered on the Web Platform. Objective: Determine the frequency of infection by Covid-19 in pregnant women with labor attended in a health facility of the first level of care, in the district of Ventanilla, Callao Region. Materials and methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study. The population was made up of pregnant women screened for Covid-19 and who culminated in normal delivery in the establishment, during the period September 2020 - April 2021. The sample was census including 133 pregnant women, whose data were extracted from the Center's Birth Book of health. Objective: To determine the frequency of violence and its associated factors among women residents of the San Juan de Lurigancho district. Materials and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study carried out in 2019. The sample consisted of 250 women obtained by non-probability sampling for convenience. Psychological, physical, and sexual violence was considered. Results: Of the total participants, 50.8% (n=127) and 68.4% (n=171) of women were victims of physical violence and psychological violence respectively, at least once in their lifetime. Of the sample, 8.8% (n=22) were victims of sexual violence at some time in their lives. Physical violence was reported mainly in older women (p=0.015), and in women with primary education (p<0.015). Objective: To determine the frequency and the factors associated with the refusal of vaccination against COVID-19 in the marginal urban area of Lima. Materials and methods: Quantitative, observational and descriptive cross-sectional study carried out in the year 2021. The population was made up of residents of the "Nueva Juventud" Human Settlement located in the district of Carabayllo, in the North of Lima. The study variable was the refusal of vaccination against COVID-19. Results: 405 people of both sexes participated with a median age of 30 years (Q1: 23, Q3: 42, Interquartile range: 19).
