The objective of this workshop is the creation of problems about algebra and the composition of functions, for which will be created using GeoGebra software. The aim is to motivate the ability to critically evaluate the quality of a mathematicalactivity around the solution of a problem and to have the ability to modify it in order to achieve enriching mathematical activities. To achieve this purpose, the strategy of problem creation by variation will be applied, which consists of presenting the participants with a problem, in the framework of a very concrete episode, in a teacher's class, this episode briefly describes some of the reactions of his students when solving the problem. After a sequence of activities, the participants will create and solve problems, and finally, they will socialize synchronously about their experience in the workshop.

The present article investigates the effect of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of generic competencies in undergraduate students. The methodology included activities in each class, divided into two stages. In the first stage, students individually responded to a question related to the class topic presented by the instructor. In the second stage, they gathered with their peers to confirm or change their answers. The results from both stages were sent through the "Profe Plus" app using mobile devices. The study was conducted with a sample of 75 students, and data was collected through initial and final surveys after seven classes. The results, obtained from ad-hoc surveys, showed a positive impact of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of students’ generic competencies. La matemática debe formar parte de la cultura general de los jóvenes y ciudadanos, y con mayor razón de los profesionales de nuestra sociedad; más aún teniendo esta tales características por las que con muy justa razón la llaman «sociedad del conocimiento y la información». En una sociedad globalizada, con cambios tan rápidos en la tecnología, con avances profundos en los diversos campos del conocimiento y con tendencias a la superespecialización, considero fundamental, en un marco de interdisciplinariedad, estimular el cultivo de la matemática en los estudiantes de todas las especialidades, haciendo evidente su carácter de vínculo entre las ciencias, la tecnología y la cultura, mostrando sus aportes para modelizar y resolver problemas de la vida cotidiana y de las ciencias humanas, sociales y naturales.
