Esta revisión teórica busca identificar los factores clave de la educación peruana presentes en su calidad educativa frente a los países desarrollados, además se da a conocer la historia de la educación adventista en el Perú y sus aspectos fundamentales. Este estudio se realizó en base a obras realizadas por historiadores, artículos de analistas educativos y a textos de Ellen White.  Se concluye que los factores clave para lograr el éxito económico y social de una nación se encuentra en la conexión entre la acción y el conocimiento, entre la investigación y a la formación de profesionales al servicio de las necesidades del Estado, una educación basada en el servicio al prójimo.

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar el nivel de impacto del modelo de calidad MAP en el dominio disciplinar y en el desempeño pedagógico de los docentes de las instituciones educativas adventistas de la Unión Peruana del Sur. Por la naturaleza del estudio, el diseño de investigación fue experimental de tipo cuasi experimental. En efecto, se realizó un pretest para identificar los niveles del dominio disciplinar y desempeño pedagógico, luego se implementó el modelo de calidad MAP y, finalmente, se realizó un postest del dominio disciplinar y desempeño pedagógico. El tamaño de la muestra estuvo conformado por 1,343 docentes de la Unión Peruana del Sur distribuidas en 56 instituciones. This is a quantitative type research with a pre experimental design. It was carried out by) the students from the Linguistics and English career and the Language Institute of the Universidad Peruana Unión, in order to determine the effectiveness of the program "Reading English Adapted Digests" (R.E.A.D.) in the acquisition of the English Language. The analysis showed that there are significant differences in favor of the study groups of Linguistics and English career. The results allow us to validate the program and at the same time recommend it as a very important part in the teaching-learning process.

The objective of this paper was to study if social support and empathy predict life satisfaction in Brazilian university students. Through a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, the voluntary participation of 374 Brazilian university students over 18 years of age from public and private universities was sought. The questionnaires applied were the Zimet Social Support scale, the Jolliffe and Farrington Basic Empathy scale (BES) and the SWLS Life Satisfaction Scale by Diener. The results showed a relationship between the variables Social Support and Empathy with a result of 0.217 (p<0.01), relationship between Social Support and Satisfaction with life is 0.415 (p<0.01).
