El objetivo de la presente tesis fue la caracterización de la cobertura vegetal boscosa del Sector Sur de la Poligonal Olmos, Proyecto Especial Olmos Tinajones (PEOT) mediante teledetección (imagen de satélite Landsat). La población estuvo representada por la cobertura vegetal del Sector Sur de la Poligonal Olmos, que comprende un total de 15 675 ha. Y presenta una imagen satelital con un total de 175 126 pixeles. Diseases caused in many insects by parasites knowns as Entomopathógenic fungi composes an ecological alternative in the pest management in different agricultural crops. The patogenicity of the Beauveria bassiana was established in this present study as an important crop pest due to its potential application as microbiological control agent against the third instar larvae of the loche Diaphania hyalinata (lepidoptera: pyralidae) screwworm. The application of conidias suspensions of 106 and 1010/ml was evaluated in isolation, registering a mortality on Diaphania hyalinata larvae, between 19% to 68% in the fourth day. As a conclusion the Beauveria bassiana presents a great potential as a microbiological control of Diaphania hyalinata.

Objectives: To determine the potential of Echinopsis pachanoi curly fungi "San Pedro Female", as growth promoters in Zea mays L. "corn" under saline stress. Materials and methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study. The fungi were isolated in dextrose potato agar (PDA) and phenotypically identified. The activity of the enzyme 1- aminocyclopropane carboxylate (ACC) deaminase, the production of natures, solubilization of tricalcium phosphate was investigated and the effect on the development of maize, on a saline soil (CE-8,213 dSm-1), under greenhouse conditions. Results: Ten genera of filamentous fungi were identified predominantly Aspergillus spp. (35.92%), Trichoderma spp. (17,96%) and Penicillium spp. (16,16%).
