description El presente trabajo de investigación realizada a una empresa de manufactura plástica tiene como propuesta y objetivo principal la implementación, en sus operaciones, de la Metodología Lean Manufacturing. Con ella se propone optimizar el proceso de producción, también, permitirá establecer procedimientos de operación, asimismo, una cultura organizacional para sostener y divulgar el trabajo estandarizado. Se ha hecho uso de las herramientas de calidad básicas, como la gráfica de Pareto, el diagrama de Ishikawa para detectar las causas originarias del problema. Luego se empleó la Filosofía Lean, que viene a ser el fundamento técnico de este proyecto de investigación. Se ha hecho uso de las técnicas del VSM, Standard Work, 5S como técnicas determinantes para evidenciar los despilfarros en el proceso y lograr la mejora. Finalmente, se logró eliminar las actividades reconocidas como despilfarros y se obtuvo el incremento de la eficiencia productiva. Para mantener esta gestión es necesario de que la gerencia de la empresa aplique técnicas de mejora continua sostenidos del líder Lean.

Con ella se propone optimizar el proceso de producción, también, permitirá establecer procedimientos de operación, asimismo, una cultura organizacional para sostener y divulgar el trabajo estandarizado. Se ha hecho uso de las herramientas de calidad básicas, como la gráfica de Pareto, el diagrama de Ishikawa para detectar las causas originarias del problema. Luego se empleó la Filosofía Lean, que viene a ser el fundamento técnico de este proyecto de investigación. Se ha hecho uso de las técnicas del VSM, Standard Work, 5S como técnicas determinantes para evidenciar los despilfarros en el proceso y lograr la mejora. Finalmente, se logró eliminar las actividades reconocidas como despilfarros y se obtuvo el incremento de la eficiencia productiva. Para mantener esta gestión es necesario de que la gerencia de la empresa aplique técnicas de mejora continua sostenidos del líder Lean.The present research work done to a plastic manufacturing industry, has as main objective the implementation of the Lean Manufacturing Methodology. With it, it is proposed to optimize the production process, also, to provide operational procedures, as well as an organizational culture to support and disseminate standardized work. Basic quality tools have been used, such as the Pareto chart, the Ishikawa diagram for detecting the root causes of the problem. Then the Lean Philosophy was used, which is the technical basis of this research project. The techniques of VSM, Standard Work, 5S have been used as determining techniques to show the wastes in the process and to achieve the improvement. Finally, it was possible to eliminate the activities recognized as waste and the increase of the productive efficiency was obtained.
