description El proyecto busca desde el punto de vista de la arquitectura, brindar a los usuarios una mejor calidad de los servicios durante todo su proceso, el tiempo que la persona se encuentra en atención y tratamiento en el Hospital Materno Infantil. El diseño de estos espacios y la integración tanto física como visual con los espacios interiores del hospital mejora la calidad de los servicios que brinda. De otro lado, el diseño de un gran espacio integrador, ayuda a la orientación del paciente en el hospital y el encuentro entre ellos para crear un vínculo en las familias, muy importante para el desarrollo de las mismas. Todo esto, sin perder la correcta y eficaz funcionalidad de un hospital, variable muy importante debido a su alto nivel de complejidad. Investigando la experiencia internacional, se ha logrado identificar que la incorporación de jardines terapéuticos y espacios de integración, benefician a los usuarios de un hospital, al permitirles tener una relación más cercana con la realidad, lo cual contribuye a mejorar su nivel de bienestar. Por esta razón, decidí incorporar esta visión en el diseño del Hospital Materno Infaltil en San Juan de Lurigancho.

The design of these spaces and the physical and visual integration with the interior spaces of the hospital improves the quality of the services it provides. On the other hand, the design of a large integrator space, helps the orientation of the patients in the hospital and the encounter between them in order to create a bond between families, very important for the development of them. All of this, without losing the correct and effective functionality of a hospital, a very important variable due to its high level of complexity. Investigating the international experience, it has been possible to identify that the incorporation of healing gardens and spaces of integration, benefit the users of a hospital, because people have a closer relationship with reality, which contributes to improve their level of well-being.
