El estudio se aborda desde la escala territorial con la identificación de las principales características del territorio altoandino como la accesibilidad, el nivel de dispersión, la movilidad territorial, la actividad económica y la organización comunitaria, seguido del análisis a escala comunal que incluye la descripción de la infraestructura colectiva y la vivienda tomando como referencia dos conceptos, la multiplicidad y la multilocalización de las mismas, y una tercera escala a nivel constructivo que describe las técnicas y materiales de construcción locales. El proyecto de arquitectura recoge las cualidades del paisaje altoandino, la organización espacial y tipología de las viviendas, tecnología constructiva y materiales locales como insumo fundamental para la formulación del problema de diseño, cuya solución se nutre de otras alternativas tecnológicas resultado de experiencias exitosas en contextos similares desarrollados principalmente por el Centro Tierra de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú y el Centro de Energías Renovables de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería.

The study is approached from the territorial scale with the identification of the main characteristics of the high Andean territory such as accessibility, the level of dispersion, territorial mobility, economic activity and community organization, followed by the analysis on a communal scale that includes the description of the collective infrastructure and housing taking as a reference two concepts, the multiplicity and multilocation of them, and a third scale on a constructive level that describes the local construction techniques and materials.
