Los resultados muestran la destacada participación de las mujeres, aunque con menor influencia que los hombres; la inmediatez y alcance de Twitter para el activismo, y la complementariedad entre actividades online y offline. Se concluye que Twitter funcionó como plataforma de interacción social y política para la convocatoria y la organización de la movilización.
