Se encuestaron a 68 estudiantes de estomatología de sétimo, octavo, noveno y décimo ciclo, de las cuales fueron 41 hombres y 27 mujeres a quienes se les realizaron una encuesta para determinar el conocimiento de los estudiantes de estomatología sobre fuentes bibliográficas utilizadas en odontología. La selección de la muestra se realizó a través de un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. El cuestionario fue validado previamente por un juicio de expertos. Los datos recolectados fueron procesados de manera automatizada en el programa estadístico SPSS Statistics 22.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA). Se realizó un análisis descriptivo del conocimiento de los estudiantes de Estomatología sobre fuentes bibliográficas, para ello se presentan frecuencias absolutas y porcentuales. Se encontró que predominó el uso de internet como fuente bibliográfica más utilizada por los estudiantes de estomatología con un 63.24%, 32.35% utiliza libros, 11.76% artículos, siendo la tesis a la que menos recurren con 1.47%. Los resultados permiten concluir que la fuente bibliográfica más utilizada es el internet y las tesis son las fuentes que menos recurren los estudiantes de estomatología.

Los resultados permiten concluir que la fuente bibliográfica más utilizada es el internet y las tesis son las fuentes que menos recurren los estudiantes de estomatología.This prospective, transversal, descriptive and observational study was designed to determine the main students' knowledge of stomatology on bibliographical sources used in dentistry 2016 I Antenor Orrego Private University in the different academic cycles The instrument was applied to a total of 68 students of stomatology, between cycles seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth, of which were 41 men and 27 women who were surveyed to determine the knowledge of students of stomatology on bibliographical sources used in dentistry. The sample selection was done through a simple random probability method. The collected data were processed in an automated manner in SPSS Statistics 22.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA). It was found that predominant use of internet as source is most commonly used by students in general with 63.24%, the thesis that recur least 1.47%. The dental area addressed by most students in seventh ninth and tenth cycle were books of dental prostheses and surgery ninth cycle. The dental specialty percent less knowledge students surveyed are books radiology with 0%. The male use books as the most orthodontic dental specialty dealt with 58.54%, and books 70.37% surgery preferred by the female books.
