Actualmente, el Colegio José Félix Black, ubicado en Paiján, enfrenta serias deficiencias en la gestión de matrículas, debido al uso de documentos en Excel y anotaciones manuales, lo que genera retrasos y errores en el proceso. El objetivo principal del proyecto es optimizar el proceso de matrícula mediante la creación de un sistema de gestión eficiente, que agilice la búsqueda y actualización de información de los estudiantes, centralizando los datos y reduciendo el riesgo de pérdida o duplicidad de los mismos. Para lograr esto, se emplea la metodología ágil XP, permitiendo realizar mejoras continuas en cada fase del desarrollo del sistema. La investigación es viable debido a que se cuenta con los recursos necesarios y el acceso a la información de la institución. Se espera que la implementación de este sistema automatizado mejore el tiempo de respuesta en la obtención de datos, facilite la toma de decisiones y optimice los recursos de la institución educativa. Sin embargo, el estudio enfrenta algunas limitaciones, como la necesidad de migrar la información a una base de datos en la nube y posibles restricciones de acceso por parte de la institución durante el desarrollo del proyecto. A pesar de ello, se prevé que los beneficios superen estas limitaciones, con un impacto positivo en la gestión académica de la institución.

Currently, the José Félix Black School, located in Paiján, faces significant deficiencies in enrollment management due to the use of Excel documents and manual notes, leading to delays and errors in the process. The main objective of the project is to optimize the enrollment process by creating an efficient management system that speeds up the search and updating of student information, centralizes data, and reduces the risk of data loss or duplication. To achieve this, the XP agile methodology is used, allowing for continuous improvements in each phase of the system development. The research is feasible as the necessary resources are available, and there is access to the institution's information. The implementation of this automated system is expected to improve response times in data retrieval, facilitate decision- making, and optimize the school's resources. However, the study faces some limitations, such as the need to migrate information to a cloud-based database and potential access restrictions by the institution during the project.
