Se utilizó como instrumento de recolección de datos el inventario de Barón Ice Inteligencia Emocional y el Inventario SISCO SV- 21 de Estrés Académico. Se obtuvo como resultado que existe relación entre ambas variable, debido a que en inteligencia emocional los estudiantes obtuvieron un nivel bajo de 46,9%, mientras que en la variable estrés académico presentaron el 43,6% correspondiente al nivel alto de estrés severo. Llegando a la conclusión que si existe relación significativa entre las variables de estudio

For this, a correlational descriptive design was followed. A non-probabilistic demonstration was obtained, leaving the sample made up of 179 fifth grade students of Secondary. The Barón Ice Emotional Intelligence Inventory and the SISCO SV-21 Inventory of Academic Stress were brought as data collection instruments.
