Ante la población participante, se ha aplicado la técnica de la encuesta mediante el instrumento “Inventario SIStémico COgnoscitivista”. Concluyendo que sí existen diferencias del estrés académico según el género en estudiantes de psicología del quinto al décimo ciclo en una universidad privada de Piura-2022. Además, se identificó que en ambos sexos la mayor parte de la población presenta altos niveles de estrés académico.

The methodology is of a substantive type, with a non- experimental design of a comparative type, developing with a total population of 117 university students, of which the female population is a total of 69 and the male population, 48. Given the participating population, it has been applied the technique of the inquiry by means of the instrument ""Inventario SIStémico COgnoscitivista"". Concluding that there are differences in academic stress according to gender in psychology students from the fifth to the tenth cycle at a private university in Piura- 2022.
