Como participantes del estudio, se contó con (101) alumnos, entre hombres (23.8%) y mujeres (76.2%), cuyas edades oscilaban entre los 14 y 16 años. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante Google Forms, el cual fue compartido con los escolares, previamente con la autorización de las autoridades del colegio y padres de familia y/o apoderados de los alumnos. Para obtener los datos mencionados, se utilizaron dos instrumentos, para medir la autoestima, se usó el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith, elaborado por Stanley Coopersmith en el año 1959 y traducido por Panizo, en el año 1985, en la ciudad de Lima - Perú. Y para medir la adaptación conductual, se usó el Inventario de Adaptación Conductual, el cual fue elaborado por Victoria De la Cruz y Agustín Cordero en el año 1981 en Madrid- España y adaptado y estandarizado en el año 1995 por Cesar Ruiz en la ciudad de Lima - Perú. Finalmente se corroboró que existe correlación entre las variables del estudio, presentando diferencias correlacionales en cada dimensión.

As study participants, there were (101) students, between men (23.8) and women (76.2), whose ages ranged from 14 to 16 years. The data collection was carried out through Google Forms, which was shared with the schoolchildren, previously with the authorization of the school authorities and the parents or guardians of the minors. To obtain the aforementioned data, two instruments were used, to measure self esteem, the Coopersmith Self esteem Inventory was used, prepared by Stanley Coopersmith in 1959 and translated by Panizo, in 1985, in the city of Lima Peru. And to mea sure behavioral adaptation, the Behavioral Adaptation Inventory was used, which was prepared by Victoria De la Cruz and Agustín Cordero in 1981 in Madrid Spain and adapted and standardized in 1995 by Cesar Ruiz in the city of Lima Peru.
